Mugga-Mugga Cottage Artefacts

Overview

ICS oversaw the full process of digitising more than 3,300 handwritten catalogue worksheets for artefacts related to the Mugga-Mugga Cottage in Canberra.

The scanned worksheets were then transcribed into an Excel worksheet. This data was used to complete cataloguing and photographing of the entire collection at Mugga-Mugga.  ICS collated all data and images and imported the information onto the ACT HHT’s Collection Management System. This enables ACT HHT staff to quickly and easily search for collection information and images that had previously only been in paper form.
