We conduct detailed assessments using up to date scientific methods and analysis to inform our conservation strategies. Artefacts in our care then undergo careful cleaning, stabilisation, and repair.
We collaborate closely with archaeologists, institutions and communities, fostering partnerships that strengthen our collective commitment to preservation. We also develop and implement long-term conservation management plans for in situ archaeological sites. An essential part of our practice is the keeping of detailed records, both written and in photographs, to maintain an accurate picture of work for future reference.
Archaeology gives an historical understanding of the past, preserving cultural heritage for the future and help communities connect to their culture and ancestors fostering a sense of continuity and belonging. Archaeological sites can inspire curiosity and serve as an educational tool, engaging people of all ages in the study of the past.
