Wendy joined ICS in 2018 as a member of the Objects and Outdoor Heritage Team bringing a wealth of experience in providing innovative conservation treatment and analysis solutions.

Wendy has been an Object Conservator since 1991, working with organisations including Sydney University Museums, the Powerhouse Museum and the Art Gallery of NSW.  Her expertise is strongly focused on glass, ceramic, stone, plaster, and metal.  Wendy is also an experienced project manager, working on both national and international projects. 

Wendy has taught conservation and archaeology at tertiary level, published widely, and presented internationally at public and academic venues. In 2017, she was awarded the ADFAS – AICCM Mid-career Scholarship.

Archibald Fountain

Originally unveiled in 1932 – just five days before the opening of the Harbour Bridge – the Archibald Fountain is considered one of Australia’s finest public fountains.

In early 2020 ICS conducted a conservation needs assessment of over 100 sculptures in the Macquarie University Sculpture Collection.

Parramatta Justice Precinct- Archaeological Remains

ICS was engaged by Strata Plus to undertake maintenance of the archaeological remains and artefacts in the Hospital and Kitchen Wing Pavilions at the Parramatta Justice Precinct (PJP) Heritage Courtyard.
