Suati Rojas

Suati joined ICS in June 2018, and works with both our Paintings and Paper departments. Suati’s specialisation is the conservation of Latin-American paintings and works of art on paper.

Suati is particularly interested in contemporary paintings. She began her conservation training at the age of 16, working for her father’s conservation studio in La Mesa, Colombia. Suati conserved artworks from private collections, galleries, and museums from Colombia and surrounding Latin American countries. Moving to Australia in 2018, Suati has continued to expand her experience to include contemporary, Indigenous, and classical paintings.
