Richard joined ICS in January 2022 as a Conservation Projects Coordinator with the Objects and Outdoor Heritage team.
Richard’s areas of interest include traditional art techniques and methods of painting and printmaking, modern museum curation and ethics, and object and collection conservation.
He has broad international work experience having worked in staff training, laboratory testing, manufacturing consulting, quality auditing and compliance and technical writing.
As a Project Coordinator at ICS, he assists the Objects and Outdoor heritage team with scoping and drafting proposals and tenders, organising project schedules and payments, coordinating supply chain requirements and hands-on conservation support.
Richard is a member of the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material (AICCM).
He is currently completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Museum and Heritage Studies at the University of Sydney.
