Lisa joined ICS in 2017 as a conservation assistant working on specific conservation projects as varied as outdoor and indoor murals, outdoor objects as well as paper, books, and paintings. In 2023 she joined ICS as a conservation technician with the Furniture and Decorative Arts team in Sydney.
Lisa provides assistance to conservators in the paper, paintings and framing laboratories and on projects as they arise. She is interested in the cultural legacy of conservation work in the context of art history and contemporary arts practice. Lisa is also an artist, curator and writer and has a personal practice in the arts (as Lisa Pang). She has worked in Australia, Europe and Japan with a particular interest in abstract painting, reductive and non-objective art, and alternative artist-run platforms.
