Kristine joined ICS in May 2019 as an Objects Conservator specialising in the conservation of archaeological artefact and was promoted in 2021 to Conservation Projects Manager.
Promoted to Conservation Projects Manager in June 2021, she manages and undertakes technical aspects of conservation, project planning and implementation, budget management, project reports, and client liaison.
Kristine applies a practical approach to her understanding of a broad range of cultural materials and their deterioration processes. She has a special interest in historical and ancient archaeology, and the conservation of archaeological materials. She maintains up-to-date knowledge about the statutory requirements for archaeological conservation in Victoria, and provides conservation advice and treatment, first aid for archaeological finds, and assists with the onsite conservation and processing of artefacts during excavations.
