Felise is an experienced conservator on the Objects and Outdoor Built Heritage team in Sydney.

Having initially trained as an architect, she brings a range of practical experience and vernacular materials knowledge from years of working across the heritage sector in the UK- namely at Historic Environment Scotland and the Churches Conservation Trust. Prior to joining ICS, her expertise in objects conservation was honed at large-scale cultural institutions by conducting condition assessments and treating museum collections and archival materials.

Her special interests include ecclesiastical and commemorative architecture (funerary monuments, war memorials, honour rolls, stained glass), Architectural Paint Research and pigment analysis (XRF, FTIR), and Natural History conservation (taxidermy).
