Caroline joined ICS in September 2020 as Senior Paper Conservator. She has worked in paper and photographic materials conservation at the National Maritime Museum, the National Archives, Art & Archival Pty Ltd, National Library of Australia and her own private practice.
Caroline’s areas of specialisation and special interest include the conservation of paper-based artworks and archival documents, family ephemera items, photographic materials, book conservation, and Indo-Persian miniature paintings. In her current role Caroline treats a wide range of works of artworks on paper, books, maps, plans, documents, parchments and photographs-both historic and digital prints.
Caroline has been involved with the preparation of paper-based items and artworks for many exhibitions at NAA and ANMM, the public conservation project of the Sirius Anchor (ANMM collection), and at ICS has worked on the conservation needs collection survey of plans at the Land Titles Office.
