COVID-19 Precautions
ICS is closely tracking every new development and guidance related to COVID-19, with a view to caring for the safety of our clients, staff and visitors. We know that every decision we make has wider impacts.
Here is an overview of the ways in which we are tackling these unprecedented circumstances.
Hygiene
The COVID-19 virus requires all of us to be more mindful during regular activities. We are implementing precautions and changes in our daily procedures to maintain hygiene standards that meet the Australian Department of Health guidelines.
To promote a safe environment for visitors and staff, we are:
When you visit
When you visit ICS, we will appreciate your contribution to our safety efforts. Please use our hand sanitiser before handling artworks, benchtops, pens, electronic machines, etc.
We also very much welcome your feedback and suggestions.
Business continuity and supplies
Client deadlines are very important to us, and our health and safety procedures are designed to minimise the risk to delivery timeframes. Along with caring for our staff, we are in active communication with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure we know as soon as possible if alternatives need to be sourced.
We will do everything we can to mitigate risks to deadlines, and will keep you informed at the earliest stage if a business interruption occurs.
Opening Hours
We’re open as usual from 9.00am to 5.00pm. We will update our website, phone messages and signage if there any change to our opening hours, with the aim of providing you with as much notice as possible.
Enquiries
Feel free to contact us by phone or email if you prefer not to come in to see us in the first instance. We will respond during business hours to all enquiries.
Artwork collection
If you would like us to collect work from your home or office for quoting or moving ahead with an approved treatment, please let us know. We are happy to help.
In summary
As we navigate these unchartered waters, the well-being of our clients, our staff and our communities remain our highest priority. We are also focused on business continuity, so our wonderful team of conservators and business operations people can remain busy and productive.
We appreciate your ongoing support and assure you that we remain available to assist, as always, with your conservation and collections management needs.
